MOU with Madras Regimental Center (MRC) - Indian Army

The CSI College of Engineering (Autonomous), Ooty has signed on 27.06.26 MOU with Madras Regimental Center (MRC) Wellington Ooty in the presence of our beloved Bishop Rt Rev Prince Calvin, Bishop in Coimbatore and the MRC Commandent Brigadier Krishnans Das for collaboration in Admission sponsorship,Reaserch , Innovation, Start up,Internship, Motivational talks,Sports, Band and Culturals etc. Dr P D Arumairaj Director represented CSICE and the Asst Commadandent represented MRC in signing the agreement . The Diocese Office bearers Rev David Barnabas, Hon Secretary and Mr DS Amirtham Hon Treasurer and Mr Godwin R Daniel witnessed the event. It is indeed a milestone for the Engineering college.
Cognithorz Ignition Unit Inauguration

CSI College of Engineering (Autonomous), Ooty in association with Cognithorz AI Tech and Business Solutions Limited has established Cognithorz Ignition Unit, India and AI Driven Corporate Echo System integrated within the college campus. The initiative developed jointly by the CSICE and Cognithorz aims to strengthen industry oriented technical education by providing students with direct exposure to a live corporate environment. The Ignition unit was inaugurated at the CSICE campus on 10.07.2026. Cognithorz AI Tech and Business solutions Ltd operates across the United Kingdom, United States of America, India and South Africa. This initiative is designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements by enabling students to gain practical experience while pursuing the engineering education. The unit will function as an IT company within the campus allowing students to work on industry oriented project and understand professional business practices. Students will receive training in emerging technologies including Artificial Intelligence, Software Development, Data Analytics, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security and Automation. The program also offers global internship opportunities interaction with international clients carrier development support.
