Our NSS & UBA student vouluntees participated and created awareness on ban on single usage plastics, effects of using plastics during Clean India Campaign conducted at Melur Village under Melur panchayat , coonoor block on 31.10.2022(today)…. Both volunteers and public took oath on plastic usage and then volunteers distributed the leaflet on each and every houses and shops also collected available plastic waste from them… Panchayat Union ward Councilor Mrs. Bharathi supported the volunteers to collect plastics from every houses …36 volunteers took part in this program. Even though daily collection of wastes from Panchayat, we were able to collect 45 kgs of Plastics during this event…
